Make it Obvious How to Download

Internet Explorer 7 is the latest version of the market dominating web browser from Microsoft. The homepage features a simple text call to action ‘Download’ with an arrow at the top right of the page. The reassurance underneath ‘get Internet Explorer 7 now’ just lets it know it is the right download link. We also get the option to ‘’take a tour’ or watch video’.

What’s most interesting to me though is how far from streamlined the download process is (see Firefox comments). It takes two clicks involving selecting your operating system from a rather complicated list. I’ll stick to Firefox! Not that I have any choice as a Mac user.
